Celebrity Tuesday - Kendall Jenner

Hello everyone. It’s Tuesday, 10^th July. How’s this week going so far? I hope all my readers are having an amazing and exciting week. I can’t say that I’m having a perfect day today because I am sick. (I am having this bad cold since last Sunday) But that’s fine let’s cheer up.  It’s celebrity Tuesday. I hope all my readers love celebrities just like I do because they are inspirational and talented people. I would like to start this celebrity series with my favorite celebrity star, professional model, TV personality Kendall Jenner.

Kendall is just one year older than me. She was born in 1995. This girl ranked the first place in world’s highest paid models' list in 2017. Can you imagine how rich she is? She became famous at a very young age by appearing as herself in the TV show keeping up with the Kardashians with her family. I don’t know how she really felt about being on a television show as herself with cameras all around her house.  I have seen her been asked this question in a lot of interviews. And her answer was that she didn’t feel much different because she started doing the show at a very young age. It is true that the fame she got from this show helped Kendall to get into the fashion industry. But that is not the only thing which made her a successful model. She is really talented and has that perfect model figure. Becoming a model was her dream. She has told in many interviews that models were her superheroes when she was young. 

.Kendall is one of the prettiest girls that I have ever seen. With her long legs, lean figure and nice face, anyone could say that she is born to be a model. But do you know why I like Kendall so much? It’s not because she is a great model or she is so damn pretty. What I like most about her is her style. It’s simple but yet elegant. I think she has the best wardrobe ever and she rocks each and every outfit that she wears.  We can learn a lot of fashion tips from her.

Kendall Jenner is known as a car lover. She has an amazing car collection. It got super expensive vintage cars and also modern cars. And she has her own house. Not just one but two houses. And she is traveling around the world with her job. Isn’t this what we all want? We all want to live a luxurious life when we are still young.  If this is what you what too I want to say that it is possible. We are the millennial generation. We can be anything we want. Have a dream that is possible and that you really want to achieve. Then make a plan with target time periods and start working towards your dream. Good luck to everyone. Love it or hate it? Korean Dramas

Hello guys and girls, It's been a while since I last posted a blog post. Before starting today’s post I have a small announcement to make. It is that I am going to change the focus of my blog from fashion to lifestyle. So from now on, I will be sharing everything I like and I’m passionate about through my blog. I hope you will keep reading my posts and get inspired.

  Today I will share my thoughts on Korean dramas. Korean dramas are very popular especially among girls around the world. They are very popular in my country too. (I’m from this small island called Sri Lanka. You can find it on the map looking like a water drop below India.)  Although I’m not a crazy Korean TV drama fan, I have watched many Korean dramas and I have enjoyed them too.

  One of my favorite Korean dramas is full house. I first watched it when I was in 7^th or 8^th grade. I went to this English tuition class every Saturday and I ran home every Saturday right after the class to watch this drama on television because this was my favorite drama at that time. I even downloaded it and watched it several times later on and that may be the reason why I don’t enjoy it anymore. Because you can’t laugh at the same joke more than three times. But anyway that was one of the cutest and funniest TV dramas I have ever watched. And showing this drama on local television channel was the first step to introduce Korean dramas to Sri Lanka.

  There are so many reasons why Korean dramas are so popular. I think the main reason is that they are very well organized and they clearly have a specific story. And I really like the ending of many Korean dramas that I have watched. Most of them had a very satisfying happy ending. I love watching movies or TV series with a happy ending because they make me feel happy and hopeful about life. And most of them are really inspiring. But to get inspired by them you have to focus on the background of that drama instead of only concerning the love story. An example of this is the Korean drama, ‘Baby faced beauty’. It’s a story about a talented fashion designer who is trying to achieve her dreams. This gives us the chance to sneak peek into their fashion industry too.

  One of the things that I really admire about the Koreans is their fashion sense. It’s clean, cute and elegant. They don’t hesitate to wear cute short dresses, glittered heels or cute and elegant accessories which make them look even cuter. Not only girls but also guys wear really nice and cute clothing. We can see their fashion through Korean dramas, which is another reason for Korean dramas to be even more popular.

  But most of the guys find Korean dramas stupid and far away from the reality. I also agree with this to a certain extent. But I think this applies to most of other TV dramas and movies too. I mean just think of all those hero movies that guys love watching. (I know girls like them too) They are also nowhere near the reality. But it’s true that we cannot have that magical relationship that we see in Korean dramas all the time in real life. But in a real relationship, both girl and boy can be sweet to each other and care for each other just like the typical couples do in Korean dramas.

  Finally, I want to say that there is no rocket science behind why girls love Korean dramas so much. Korean dramas wake up that dream that we girls have planted in our hearts when we were so young by hearing all those princess stories. And Korean dramas make us feel like it’s possible to have a magical love story in our real life too.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS-2018

It's January the 17th.I think it's not yet too late to write a blog post about new year resolutions.It's a fresh start.Every one of us has goals.To keep our selves motivated for the rest of the year let's make some resolutions.But make sure you don't make too many resolutions because that way you'll forget them easily and also that won't be much effective. Write down your own resolutions, place them somewhere you always see and start taking small steps towards them.Here are my top 3 resolution ideas.

RESOLUTION IDEA NO:1

Work for your dream body

It's true that we all have to be happy about whatever the body we have. But yet we all have that dream body that we wish to have. This dream body can be different from one person to another.( someone might want a curvy body, another one might want a slim body).No matter what kind of body you want now it's the time to work for it.This will be a tough task for most of us.But at least try to take small steps toward that goal like start having healthy snacks(fruits), adding more veggies to your diet, drinking more water, never skipping breakfast, eating more healthy-high protein stuff (if you are skinny), taking walks or riding bicycles whenever you can instead of going on vehicles etc. Life will be easy and you'll feel more comfortable and you'll be happy when you have a nice body. So make this a resolution this year and most importantly start working for that body by making small goals.For an example, if you are skinny decide how many kgs you want to add to your body by the end of this year.(make realistic goals) and make a plan for that.

RESOLUTION NO:2

Start learning something that you always wanted to learn

There are so many things that we are passionate about and we always wanted to learn.It could be learning a new language, learn to paint, learn to play some kind of musical instrument, learn cooking, sewing, dancing, programming, gardening, photography or anything that you love .If you already have some basic knowledge about the thing that you are passionate about, then start learning further about that area. Here I suggest you choose two things, one thing which improves your creativity and another thing that develop your professional skills. So whenever you have free time you have something interesting to do and learn.

RESOLUTION NO:3

Start exploring the world, people and everything 

This is the most interesting resolution.The world is so big.And there are so many people, animals and plants living on it, which means there are so many things to explore.Exploring has no limits.You can even explore beyond earth. I'm using this word 'explore' over and over again in this paragraph because I really like that word.It just makes me happy because it gives me the feeling that life is not boring.There the so many ways of exploring.You can travel around the world and explore, You can just go to your garden and explore or you can sit in front of a computer and explore.You can explore about different cultures, beautiful places on the earth or even about space.Isn't that so cool?Reading is also a very good way of exploring life.Only thing is that you just have to be curious about things around you.

ENJOY YOUR LIFE -READING books#1

Today I'm going to tell you guys about something that I love.That is "reading".Most people in this modern world are not interested in reading books.But trust me, if you know the real taste of reading you will never stop reading.There are so many things like gaming, watching the television, traveling, that you can do in your free time.But none of these will be calming, entertaining and less expensive like reading.

It's obvious that you can learn so many things by reading books that are written about different fields.

But here I'm not going to talk about those books."Storybooks", that's my topic for this post. Who wouldn't like to read a nice storybook that opens your mind to a new world?  If you haven't tried it you must definitely try it.Always go for the books that you are really passionate about(I highly recommend you to read actual books, not E-books or audiobooks).If you are an adventure lover go for that kind of books.If you like mysterious things go for that kind of books. You can learn a lot of tips from this kind of books.

Just by reading story books you can have following advantages.

1. You can go around the world without spending a lot of money
2. You can learn about different kinds of people 
3. You can imagine your own movie by picking the best characters and best locations while reading
4. You can be the main character of your imagination
5. You'll learn how to act in difficult situations of life
6. You can learn life hacks like how to win a girl, beauty hacks, culinary hacks and many more
7. You can learn history in an interesting way
8. You can have fun (Best jokes are found in books)
9. You can learn good habits and manners
10. You can learn about different cultures

In my opinion if you wanna enjoy the world and have fun with your life you gotta have these 4 things in you.
1.You must have some kind of fashion taste. The world is full of fashion.It got nice patterns, nice colors, nice shapes all over it.So you can enjoy those things and also have much more fun with those things if have some interest in fashion.

2.Secondly I think you should a good food taste. This is really important cause "you're what you eat". It's really important to develop a good (I mean healthy) food taste.But I don't ask you to avoid all those tasty junk food that you love. Why should we right? They are there to enjoy. But make sure you control the amount of junk food that you take. The world is full of nice. delicious and healthy food.So try develop a good food taste if you love yourself.

3.You should have a travelling taste. I was never interested in travelling that much before but now I think travelling and exploring the things in this world is so much fun. The world is full of so many beautiful places. Those places are there for you. You must go and visit those places while you can.
And it will change the way you think about the world.

4. Lastly you should have a book taste. I am a bookworm myself ,so I recommend you to be a one too. Because a good book can change the way you think,change the way that you look at things and it will let you have the most amazing adventures and meet most interesting people without going anywhere. So try to read some real books.

Cinderella's gowns

⃟   Have you watched Disney movie Cinderella?Well I have watched it several times and I found it interesting each & every time I watched it, Though we all know Cinderella's story from our childhood it's yet interesting to watch the movie.But this post is not about the movie.This is all about really nice gowns that I saw in that movie.

First one is Cinderella's signature blue dress.It is stunning.Costume designer Sandy Powell is the designer of this and  270 yards of fabric, more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals, 4 miles of thread (for one petticoat alone) and 3 miles of hems were taken to make this gorgeous dress.I think that the neckline of this dress is the most attractive part.Here's that magical gown!

⃟  And I'm obsessed with her wedding gown too.It is simple but yet gorgeous and royal looking.It has a nice floral pattern too.I think it shows the simplicity and the beauty of the Cinderella so well.

⃟   And I looove little Ella's floral dress too.I like the simple beauty of that dress.And I like that floral pattern too.(I'm obsessed with floral patterns)And the dress looks so comfy.

FAshion!
Fashion is something interesting and exciting.Fashion changes from time to time ,person to person and country to country. Sometimes trends come along and it goes around the world.
Actually there's lot to say about fashion. Its not just the clothes,jewellery,shoes and stuff.Fashion is our lifestyle.The way we talk,the way we walk,the way we eat,the way we think is also fashion.
So what I'm trying to say today is let's enjoy our lives and everything we do with fashion.Let's do what we do in a fashionable manner.
